Spain booked their place in the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday, defeating France 2-0 to keep their unbelievable unbeaten run going into the final on Sunday.
Their victory means that Spain have now gone 37 games unbeaten (W28 D9), the joint-longest run by any European men’s national team in history. It equals Italy’s 37-game run that ended in October 2021… against Spain in a UEFA Nations League clash.
